Save your supplier-related documents

Community Administrators can now add documents against a Supplier record, which will help you keep track of any essential contractual or purchasing information. Open the Supplier in the Marketplace and navigate to the Certificates and Documents tab to find this option.

In future you will be able to choose if each document can be seen by your buyers, and we will allow you to see any expired documents.

History (Invoice, Order, Requisition)

History is now visible as its own tab on each of these screens, rather than hidden in the Actions menu. You can see basic information such as when an Order was received, or an Invoice was matched.

This simple example is from an Order:

Create Non-Catalog Item

The process of creating a non-catalog item should now be a lot simpler. All information is contained on one tab, and we won't bother you with similar products any more.

Below is an example of the new screen, with all fields on one tab:

Search Supplier by ABN Number

For our Australian users, you can now search for a Supplier by entering their ABN number. This number is also visible on the Supplier's Details tab.

For New Zealand users, this also applies to a Supplier's GST number.

View Invoices - new filters

View Invoices has been updated with new searching and filtering options. The main focus is on searching for an Invoice Number and selecting a Date Period. Choose "Custom Date Range" if you want to select your own dates. On the right side we have a Filters/Hide button which will open the second row, allowing filtering by Supplier, State and Bill To if applicable.

In the top right, you'll also notice that we've replaced the ellipsis (or dot-dot-dot) with a More Actions dropdown:

New Role - User Support

User Support is a new role that has access to the Users menu without being able to make changes. This will allow support teams to switch in and see what a Buyer or Browser is currently looking at and provide them guidance on next steps.

For more information, visit our roles documentation here.

Supplier Admin Email fix

We noticed the Supplier Admin email was being generated far too often, such as notifying you when a supplier made changes to their contact details for another Community. This has now been fixed.

Sourcing Attachments & Comments

Attachments and Comments can now be added to Sourcing events even after the bid has been closed. This will allow you to add supporting information or details of how the bid was awarded.

Contracts Roles Revisited

We have adjusted our three Contracts roles to make them easier to manage:

  • Create Contract - no longer able to view all contracts, just those they are a member of.
  • View Contracts - view all contracts, but not sensitive information.
  • Contracts Administrator - view all contracts, including sensitive information.

Add Notes to all Requisition Types

Do you need your buyers to provide more information on Release Orders or Credit Card Purchases? A new setting controls if the Justification section of Checkout is always visible and buyers can enter more detail.

You can find this setting in the Settings tab in the Settings menu of Community Administration:
