Add discounts to invoices

We've added the ability to apply a discount to an invoice on the Create Invoices screen so that your accounts team can accurately reflect discounts and rebates from suppliers.

Discounts is an optional feature that can be enabled by the community administrator.

Improved contract document visibility controls

Currently the only way to view a document on a contract is by being a member or administrator. To ensure you have more flexibility to share critical information to those who need it we are adding new access controls to contract documents.

The new settings allow you to make documents available to all users who can view the contract and you can choose default options at either contract type or contract level, rather than having to choose for every document.

Change suppliers when creating non-catalog item

You can now change suppliers when creating a non-catalog item. A new Supplier selector on the non-catalog item form means it’s no longer necessary to cancel and recreate an item if you need to switch suppliers. In a future release, users will also be able to start creating non-catalog items without selecting a supplier first.

Change suppliers during approvals

To reduce the number of requisitions that need to be resubmitted, approvers now have the option to change the supplier on non-catalog items during the approval process.

To help you keep a history of changes, we also show the old version of the item with the previous supplier as 'cancelled' on the requisition.

This feature is an optional configuration for communities that can be enabled by community administrators in the Approvals Administration section in conjunction with our other Requisition Editing settings.

Quickly find items you previously ordered

Quickly find or reorder items you have ordered in the past using our new and improved order history search. From the View Orders page you can search for terms in the product's Name, Description or Code to display a list of orders containing those terms.

We’ve revamped this feature to boost the search performance and allow you to switch between searching for Orders or Items within your orders. We’ve also saved a step by taking you directly to the order if you know the exact number.

Improved Shopping Lists

We've heard that many of you would love to make better use of our shopping lists so you can quickly find the items you purchase frequently. The following handy shopping list improvements will make using and maintaining lists much simpler and easier.

The improvements include:

- You can now easily add items to existing lists from search results or the cart

- You can copy items from one list to another, one by one or many at a time.

- Important items can be moved to the top of a list to make them easier to find

- Lists can be easily renamed

There are no additional settings needed to use these enhancements, and more detail can be found here - Shopping Lists

Pause Requisition Approval

The approval escalation process is designed to keep approvals moving, however approvers sometimes need a little more time to investigate or discuss a requisition before hitting approve.

To stop the approvals marching forward we have added the ability to pause a requisition during approvals which suspends the approval process and allows more time for consideration.

Community administrators can enable this feature within the Approval Administration section.

More information can be found here:

Edit Requisitions During Approvals

Buyers and approvers often need to make changes to requisitions once they have been sent for approval. Until now, this has required the requisition to be declined and resubmitted regardless of how large or small the change might be.

To make this process quicker and easier we've added the ability for both buyers and approvers to easily make changes to requisitions that have already been sent out for approval. There's no need to decline and resubmit.

This feature is an optional configuration for communities that can be enabled by community administrators in the Approvals Administration section.

Task Digest Timing

We've simplified our Task Digest messaging so it only notifies you of the most recent tasks (last 90 days). Tasks older than this will still be visible from the Task menu in Unimarket, but will no longer trigger email notifications.
